"Trash cans outside were all overflowing on the ground, there were no carts by the front door, our room had a dirty bathroom floor, part of the sink vanity was broken and missing, and the toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall, there was hair in the shower mat from the last guest; certainly inconvenient that a late checkout was 50 bucks, breakfast was chaotic and there was nowhere to sit, I couldn't get a receipt after checking out as they said I would get the receipt from the third-party,"

"My kids loved the pool and easy access to the beach. The view from the balcony was picture perfect. The carpet was not torn but was out dated. The room was clean however the air was left off so we first got there it was a musky smell but after the air conditioner ran a few minutes it disappeared however for the price we definitely would go back"

Walmart was 3mins away, so we were able to shop for food and cook while we were there. Just a 10min walk to Pier Park was great. Right on the beach. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. The only issue was no hot water after all day on beach and then Sunday morning was the same. Called front desk and no one came up. "The rooms need some serious attention when it comes to cleaning. I understand it’s an older hotel so I was not expecting luxury. I had to ask that housekeeping sweep and mop the floors. Sand was everywhere when we checked in. That wasn’t the biggest issue. The floor was a little sticky and had hairballs on the floor. I hope management reads reviews and focus on cleaning. Since the hotel is older and dated cleanliness is a must. Other than that the stay was great. The staff were extremely nice...

The staff were kind and helpful throughout the stay. The free parking is helpful to leave the car there until you need it. "
