"My husband & I travel quite often and we find this beach to be one of the most amazing beaches by far. The food is exceptional, although I was longing for some fried plantains, but that is minor. The rooms are clean but really does need upgrading, too outdated. I’d say 95% if the staff are quite pleasant and helpful. Greeting to Anaya, she’s one of the best and knows how to put a smile on someone’s face. I will recommend."

"Safe yourself the worries… we did not have a good experience… from the time we got to the front desk it was unpleasant. Nothing works properly…from the shower to the room phone the safe lock the AC the ice cream machine always out of certain drinks could never get a reservation at restaurant. Most of the staff is un aware of what’s going on a lot of misleading information, must refill your water bottles or pay extra for water I can go on and on but I will stop here. "The food here is amazing. Rooms clean but lighting terrible. Snorkel gear hard to get. Beaches beaches and super friendly staff. You are literally sleeping on a cliff/mountain so be prepared to hike up a hill to rooms."

"A fantastic resort that left us feeling completely relaxed. The bay is perfect with soft, golden sand and crystal clear water. The quality of food across the resort is excellent and can’t be faulted. All members of the Galley Bay team - housekeeping, restaurant, bar, management - are superb! We couldn’t have asked for a better, friendly approach to the service and our overall experience. We are already planning our return visit!"

"I wanted to love Hodges Bay but we had an overall ok stay. Our transportation from the airport was mishandled but was fixed at the end and our return shuttle to the airport was taken care of. The resort was fairly empty as we often had the pool to ourselves and got familiar with other guests quickly. We decided to try the Asian specialty restaurant the 1st night and it took over an hour and 15 min to get our meals. They were only 4 other tables at the restaurant during that time, so I’m not...
