"Definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel as listed… don’t even include still bottled water etc. Front desk staff not very friendly. Room was clean but definitely feel like they skimped on some of the amenities. Room was listed to have record player and didn’t, only received after calling and asking. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event so I didn’t even get to check that out. Vip drink ticket was only given to me after I asked. "

"We booked specifically for the indoor pool and spa and were noticed 2 weeks prior to our stay that it would be under construction and unable. With such late notice and busy week in the city with Vivid we had no other options in our price point. Several items in the room were not functioning and things like body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty. The whole place has a feel of being in process of remodel and everything being done as minimal and cheap as possible."

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff on reception, with a very quick and efficient check in. Room was very modern and spacious. Large bathroom with seperate shower, toilet and large bath. Location fabulous for getting around Sydney, close to station and light rail. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars close by."

"Room was pretty run down. Had Ants crawling across the counter and the shower leaked really bad which flooded the bathroom. Staff charged our account for parking when it was agreed we would pay cash. Bar took 40 minutes to make 2 drinks."

"Staff was really friendly and helpful. Condition of rooms that I was allocated was not. First room the Black out blinds could not be shut and was stuck. They assigned me to another room and the heating in that room does not work. The location of the toiletries such as body gel, shampoo and conditioner was at the end of the bathtub, other end of the shower head.... I had to carefully walk down the end of bathtub to get to them and bathtub was quite slippery."

"I loved staying on the 40th floor, spectacular views morning and night. Loved that each room in our 3 bedroom condo had some sort of view of the ocean and that there were 3 bathrooms!! It was nice having plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, clean towels and supplies in the kitchen. (And hair dryers) The Hilton staff was warm and professional. "The location was fantastic for easy walking access to curriculur quay to view the vivid Sydney lights and to catch the ferry to various locations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our city view room was roomy for our party of 3, the decor is tired and the beds could be upgraded. The large pillows look good but aren't so practical for those used to having room for individual pillows. A pillow menu and written list of amenities would be appreciated"
