"This is a Grand Old Dame, and, as such, expect the quirks of a century plus old hotel. The location is fabulous and we walked to the main street where there are lots of dining options and where a person could dip in the hot springs. We ate at the hotel and dinner was nice, especially the scenery. The main courtyard was pleasant and service was great. "I had a great stay at the Sonesta Downtown Denver. The location was excellent—close to restaurants, attractions, and easy to get around the city. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Denver."

"Front desk staff not friendly or welcoming. The breakfast area was messy with food all over the counter and no one there to keep up after guests. Pool area was dirty with towels falling out off the baskets and the parking situation was another situation. Paying for parking is also ridiculous."

The air conditioning system was controlled by the hotel staff, when asked if we can make the room cooler since we have allergies and asthma, they were telling us that someone will come and check it out. We were told the air was “cranking” which it wasn’t. We also had to chase for clean towels and toilet paper for our room. We were told 20 minutes, but yet no one brought us towels.
