"I wish I could give more than 3 stars to this property because I do think the staff are doing the best they can. The beds were clean, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and anytime we needed help the staff were great.
The hotel needs quite a few upgrades:
-the pool “waterpark” doesn’t have a functioning hot tub or slide, it’s just a pool (although it’s very warm which we loved).
-the furniture in the game area needs replaced as well as others around the hotel. The chair in our room was...

"Fantastic location 2 blocks from Main Street in Ouray. Quiet neighborhood, and nice curb appeal.
The rooms are small but very adequate. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Hot showers!!!
The staff is the difference at Black Bear Manor. They are friendly, helpful, and there when you need them. The snacks and the breakfast are 5 Star!!!
We ended up staying an extra night because we couldn’t stand the thought of leaving!!!
