"Riu Palace is severely outdated and allegedly scheduled for a remodel in the coming months. With that being said the maintenance of the building was lacking. Room key cards would stop working randomly, the air conditioning was struggling to cool the room and the rooms looked and felt like a time machine to the 1980s. Zip lining is a bit pricey compared to other options in the area, but their breathtaking mountain views and incredible breakfast are worth it. The entire property is immaculately organized and clean, and I would definitely book again. The hot springs were fantastic, but I believe there might be better ones further down the road. Overall, I would give this place a solid 10 out of 10."

"In Building 3000, there were Raccoon's in the ceiling. It was very disturbing & a nuisance during my stay. This was due to noise from the rodents, along with garbage/debris left on my deck. I would not return to this property."
