"Beautiful resort, incredible location, gorgeous grounds, comfortable room, friendly staff, pretty much the whole package! I cannot recommend the Royal Kona Resort enough. Thank you for everything! Definitely try their restaurant and mai tai bar as well. My partner and I loved it there! "

"Great service but the property needs updating which is why I rated it 3 stars. Perks, oceanfront and lots within walking distance, trolley stop to get around, free quality sun block at pool and 3 free beach equipment rental items close by daily. "

"Our room was adequate, though not impressive. The common areas of the hotel always seemed to be without air conditioning, which made it very uncomfortable. The ease with which you could rent beach chairs, surf boards, etc. was a great amenity. The pool area was a highlight and probably one of the better ones in the Waikiki Beach area."

"Construction noise, sliding glass door in our room was dirty, small pool and limited amount of lounge chairs. Resort fee charged was not justified in our opinion. F.e beach sand chairs and umbrellas were not included in resort fee. Wifi was not secured for each room separately."
