"Spectacular view of Paris from my room"

"We were given stained blankets and covers. The amenities were not as clean -- plates, utensils. The change of towels are not consistent. However, all the reception staff are very helpful. Thank you!"

"Upon arrival we were impressed with a nice lobby and beautiful garden. The junior suite was large and beds comfortable, but on the second day we woke up with congestion/coughing due to the stuffiness of the room, although this might have just been the one we were placed in. We also returned to the room one evening after the cleaning service and discovered blood all over the inside of one of the bed sheets. This was extremely disturbing and we alerted the staff but the manager seemed unphased...

The area is vibrant both day and night, with people constantly on the move or simply enjoying themselves, and plenty of small, unique restaurants to explore. That said, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the ideal spot. The neighborhood has an active nightlife, with open cafes and music well into the evening. "I chose Le Meurice because of its reputation as one of Paris's premier palace hotels. While the property is beautiful and the location exceptional, the service fell far short of what I expected. The disappointment was not one isolated incident, but a consistent pattern of service failures. Our thermostat never worked despite two repair requests. "I stayed in a six pod room. It was very cramped and frankly not very confortable. No AC anywhere in the building only a window that opens to the average parisian noisy traffic and people shouting even late at night. Shared bathroom with showers that you have to press every 30 seconds to **save water** ... rest of the property is the same. Would not advice coming here anytime in the summer if you have to come here when the heat dies down otherwise stay very far away."

"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at Stella in June during the heatwave in a family room on the ground floor. Spacious for a family of 3 - with a safe, mini fridge and kettle which was a nice surprise. Extremely well located - steps to subway and you can see l’arc de triomphe from the front step of the hotel. Many restaurants in the area and the Eiffel Tower was a 20 min walk. Cool, crisp air conditioning and an elevator. Staff were wonderful. Would go back anytime."
