"The location of this hotel is great, 15 min walk from Denbies and right at the base of Box Hill for a hike. The pool is nice but you can't use it after check out and it closes at 7 even in the middle of summer! The Air Con did not work. The room was fine but quite old and tired. Overall great for location but not a luxurious stay"

"Room is dirty, we found a kids dummy underneath the sofa and rubbish behind the bed. The daily room service gave up on the kids bed after the 2nd night and didn’t make their bed. Shower gel pumps were broken in the shower. Breakfast was very limited to a basic buffet at best."

"This hotel is a bit basic and the decor is dated. There is no air con, which given recent temps was a big issue, although they do have a floor fan which I used. The door handle code system was useful for after hour arrivals. There are no facilities to speak off...no restaurant, no bar, no pool. It's essentially just to room to sleep in."

"You get what you pay for. For the price we paid, the guest house served its purpose. The room was fine, but the best bit was proximity to airport- we could easily jump on a bus and be there within 20 minutes."
