"Stayed on 1st floor, funny smell with a/c. I thought onions, husband said cat pee. Water in tub didnt drain good during shower and ice machine wasnt working. The surprise was the continental breakfast, excellent choices. Location was close to hwy access which made it convenient to travel. Overall decent stay for the price."

"As a historically important hotel, it is well-maintained, and I liked that the lobby and building's appearance which differentiated it from hotels in other areas, gave a very unique experience. However, it seemed that some training for the staff was necessary. I think the employee's attitude of not even looking at the customer's face when asking something at the front desk was not in line with the dignity of this hotel."

"Staff was unhelpful and uninterested in the quality of our stay. In the high desert, the carpet was strangely damp and squishy. Light in the bathroom was so dim I couldn’t do any grooming or makeup. It is pet friendly, but the pet was a dog left alone in the room across the hall and who barked day and night. The pool did seem popular."

"We used it as a base for excursions into Santa Fe and surrounding areas, which worked out well. A couple of notable gems nearby include the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market and the restaurant Palumbo, both walking distance as was a distillery and REI"

"Staff was very helpful, kind, and well attentive. The hotel was beautiful, I loved seeing the local art on all the floors, even available to purchase if you desire. The amenities were wonderful after a long day of driving. Lots of shopping, coffee and food within walking distance. Wished we could have stayed longer."

"Pool spa was not heating. Need a convenience store in hotel to buy water toiletries etc. otherwise great property and we will stay there again."

"This property is very conveniently located and parking is good. Kitchen staff very helpful and provided a decent, basic breakfast in a pleasant dining room. Room was clean and had the basics needed. Not sure why they charge a “resort” fee as nothing is offered beyond the basics of a regular non-resort Hampton Inn type property. They should not claim to provide WiFi as it is completely useless. We could not even download email messages so forget about streaming anything. We resorted to...
