"Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay at The Norm and would recommend it to everyone. We were greeted warmly at reception by Mehmet who very kindly upgraded us to a swim up bungalow suite. "My husband and I vacationed at this hotel on October 21-27, 2024. And from the very beginning, we were in for a lot of disappointments: 1) they checked us into a room with cigarette butts and the smell of cigarettes. 2) they changed the room, but now it had a broken toilet wrapped in red tape. 3) the website says that there is a choice between 4 a la carte restaurants, but in fact we came on the very first day and were told that there was no choice and they could only enroll us in a fish...

"Amazing service, clean site, clean beach, amazing staff - very sweet Ruslan made our dinner in Beach Club special. On the bad side - I would not go there again as a couple without kids, because how many kids there were - unimaginable. In regards to food, we were very dissapointed, a lot of options however repetitive, sushi 4 options - two of them with chicken. Pizza very dry. "

The view of the river is beautiful and can be seen from the restaurant at breakfast and dinner, It’s a short walk to the tram. We liked the tranquil escape it gave us from the bustle of Istanbul. Slightly annoyed by the differing pricing we received for late check out. The first receptionist told us €120 which was kind of staggering and not far off price for the night. We went back to the desk and were offered €60 which seemed far more reasonable. So worthwhile negotiating or escalating. "

"I had no idea what to expect because I didn’t know Istanbul when I made the booking. I figured we’d stay a few nights and then move once we knew the layout of the city. Instead we extended here for the whole week. The location is perfect for sightseeing and vacationers. Plenty of convenient walking destinations and right across from the sea. The rooms are great, the breakfast is very good, the restaurant is good but a bit pricey however there are tons of other eating options within 5-10 minutes...
