"Good spot "

"I recently stayed at Margaritaville Vacation Club St. Thomas and had a mixed experience overall. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff stood out in a positive way—everyone I encountered during check-in and at the restaurant was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. That said, there were a few drawbacks. "The room was clean and okay for comfort. The pullout sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture was a little outdated but the floors were very dirty. Without shoes on your feet, your feet will get black. The front staff and bell boy were friendly. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get back and forth from your room to where the pool and food area are located. The food was good but the bartender/ server during the day was swamped and had no one else to help. The hotel needs to have more...

"Most of the staff is not friendly. Communication is horrible. A LOT of hidden fees. Property was very pretty. Only 1 of the 3 pools is kid friendly. Lots of choices to eat on sit. Room was nicely cleaned most of the days. Great views from our balcony. "

"There was many repairs that needed to be made to the room. It wasn’t cleaned properly. There was no hot water the faucet to turn the water on was broken. They didn’t come and change the sheets or gift towels. The whole property seemed old and ran down."

"Parking is very limited, some outlets did not work in room, hot tub did not heat, room size and layout was 5 star. Restaurant and staff were very pleasant. Very close to Red Hook (shoppong, Restaurants, grocery store, ferry terminal). "

"The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy. "
