"Hotel is now feeling very tired. Didn’t use spa so can’t comment on that. Bar area is pleasant. Upon check in staff were overly attentive to the point where it became time consuming. At check out - totally different. Staff were disinterested in guests and whilst three members of staff two of them were happy to have a 7-8 minute conversation whilst 5+ guests were standing around waiting for attention."

"The rooms were a good size with everything you needed, tea/coffee, water, hairdryer and iron. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even when the fire alarm went off at 4am! The problem we had was a cold shower, there was no hot water."

"My room was at the side of the building, it was quiet, reasonably cool given the hot weather, the shower was fine, the really good thing about it is the location.Ten mins from the railway s tree action, plenty of places to eat, and good walks"
