Cari Hotel di Distrik Wealden

"Everything was very well organised and delivered. The building is dated but scrupulously clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and kind-hearted, There was a singer in the Ballroom in the evening which was good. My only complaint is that the TV in my room wouldn't work. It would switch on but not access any channel. Also, the lifts were very small so there was usually a queue for them. The price was very fair although I had to pay £6/night for parking. Breakfast was excellent - everything...

"Good hotel"

"There is unknown charge, which was not communicated in advance."

"I booked this hotel as it is the only one in the area with a pool, however when I arrived I was told the pool was closed. This was very disappointing as I was not told at the time of booking and the room was non refundable. The rooms are very dated with small beds and limited amenities."

"Nice and peaceful"

"LIKE THE OVERALL LOOK OF THE CHATSWORTH FROM OUTSIDE, RECEPTION AREA WAS CLEAN. CIGAR AREA/BAR AND RESTAURANT WAS VERY NICE WITH THE JAZZ SINGER OUR ROOM WAS UPGRADED WAS A PLUS THANK YOU TO THE LADY RECEPTIONIST .I THOUGHT THE BEDROOM CARPET NEED A GOOD CLEAN OR CHANGE, THE PILLOW IS FLAT AS A PANCAKE. THE SPACIOUS MARBLE BATHROOM AND THE SEAVIEW IS WORTH STAYING."

"Very quiet"

"Very helpful staff; room was basic but value for money. Only negatives: the shower is fiddly to use (you have to run the tap in the sink to get water in the shower) and the water pressure is low. Also no wifi during my stay. Therefore no TV as that’s WiFi dependant"

"Greeted at the door on a very wet and windy day by a lovely welcoming man and then at reception by a lovely lady. All other staff we engaged with were helpful and polite. The decor/furniture in the public areas of the hotel is tasteful and suits the building. The bedroom and bathroom was clean, the bed very comfortable. Although we sat in the main restaurant for dinner we chose from the bar menu. The Shepherd’s Pie was tasty but could have been a bit hotter and the mash more crispy. Plenty to...
