"The hotel itself was clean and nice, so no issues with the room. The problem was the front desk experience. We had a night out in DC and chose not to drink and drive, so we booked and paid for a room ahead of time. When I (female) went to check in, I was told I couldn’t because of the time—even though the room was already paid for. Then my boyfriend went in right after me and had no issue getting the keys. The front desk worker, who appeared to be a gay male, was noticeably rude and dismissive...

"It was an okay stay nothing particularly special. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had shared that information with the lodge ahead of time, but unfortunately it didn’t seem to be communicated, as we were asked again during check-in. The room was clean, though smaller than we expected. On a positive note, guest services provided great customer service, which we appreciated. The rooftop restaurant, Moon River, was a nice highlight of the stay. Overall, it was a good hotel...

"The location of this hotel was great, very convenient. That’s where the positives of this trip end. The staff were not very helpful and seemed to have an attitude when asking if it were possible to accommodate my needs. "We only stayed one night but staff was very welcoming & accommodating. Hotel was well maintained and clean."

"My family’s experiance was pretty good. The only negatives was the beds were so uncomfortable and it took us a while to get used to the elevators, they don’t have floor numbers inside. Also you cannot get dropped off in front of the hotel. You have to get dropped off by the turnaround. The entrance is little hidden within buildings."
