"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. Our room had a beautiful sea view, definitely worth the extra pennies. It’s a bit of a shame that the road just below is quite busy and noisy throughout the day. Nevertheless, it was great to be so close to the sea, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way."
