"This motel was fine overall. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like bricks. It felt clean and safe. I appreciated the parking. The room layout was a bit different but spacious. Like most places, there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap available. The location was the best part. About 6 minutes from Cal Poly and an easy walk to everything downtown. Definitely no frills but not bad either."

"Considering there was an additional charge for rooming our dog(which we would imagine is for cleaning charges), the room was not very well maintained. There was dust on all of the edges, headboards, top of television, etc. spots on all the walls. The reading lights did not work. The refrigerator barely kept things cool. There were long hairs in the bathtub. The coffee machine was filthy. The hairdryer was filled with dust. The only bright side were brand new towels. This stay was less than...

"Simple room. The rooms were very clean, with wood laminate flooring. For an older motel, it was maintained well and looks like the rooms were recently remodeled. We were only three blocks from the beach! I would definitely stay there again."

"Front desk person was not friendly when we arrived. Requested early check-in, which seemed to annoy her even though I explained I know I’m early and it’s not automatic. She said she would call when room was ready and of course I waited till 330 showed up to ask if it was ready and they said they called me but they never did. Also, I upgraded to a water View room luckily we did not bring our dog because when I finally checked in, they said no dogs allowed and there was only one room left...

"The room during our stay during the July 4th weekend (which had inflated prices) had several issues - Fridge didn’t work well, causing our stored food to spoil. AC rattled during the night. The bathroom door also had an issue opening properly. We only stayed one night or we would have asked to switch rooms. Still waiting for word from the manager about reimbursement for our inconvenience."
