"One staff member was not friendly or pleasant. Our room was supposed to be cleaned on Sunday, 4/26, but it was never cleaned, so we went to mention this to the front desk. We were met with an argument/debate. Instead of saying, we will send somebody up to clean your room shortly we were met with an argument and accusations that we must have had the do not disturb sign on, which wasn't the case and she stated this before we even had giving her our room number. Second, we asked for towels as our room has not been cleaned and we no longer have any more clean towels and began to be interrogated on where we are going. I come to this hotel every time I stay in Destin and have never had such a rude experience. Our room was eventually cleaned, but they did not clean the shower or remove the old, dirty towels from the bathroom. This might be my last year coming to the Tru By Hilton. "

"Not sure who decided a cheap metal bedframe on a vinyl plank floor was, but it's awful. 2 queen beds in the room and both made noise every time you sat on it or rolled over in the night. The room otherwise was nice and clean, There was a nice kitchenette in the room but no dishes, pans, or even silverware so what the point? The continental breakfast was a joke. Your choice was to toast a bagel or cereal. I realize this is the budget side of Hilton properties. But I sure expected better."

"Staff was great. Location was great. Breakfast was good. Comfy beds and pillows. Covers were clean. Room 111 near the lobby is SO loud. We had to get moved the next day because people were talking so loud we couldn't fall asleep until 1 am and then at 5:30 am we were awoken again by the noise in the dining room. We barely got any rest. The ac is loud in the room. Bathroom was dirty and even had urine on the toliet seat. It had a musty smell as well. Room 315 was better but still wasn't clean and the ac was loud. It smelled fresh though. Overall, we probably wouldn't stay here again."
