"Taxi services was always available. Front desk staff friendly and always available to help. Bar servive great. Food was good. Great beach access. Quiet beach no crowds. Beautiful landscaping. The room needed some upgrades but overall it was a comfortable stay. Be aware of mosquitos getting in your room!"

"I would strongly caution others before booking this property through Expedia. Before my scheduled stay, multiple Expedia representatives and I repeatedly attempted to contact the hotel, but were unsuccessful. AT LEAST four different Expedia agents tried to reach the property on my behalf for SIX days (!!!) and were unable to get any response. This raises serious concerns. If a property cannot be reached before your stay, there is no way to confirm your reservation, ask questions, or resolve...

"Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east."

"This is a small, quaint hotel run by locals in the style of a hostel. We arrived way early and were allowed to swim in the pool for a few hours which was great! The common area is a great place to meet others, and the staff was very nice. We were very happy with this authentic stay and would return."

"Super friendly place in a great location. You can borrow beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, floats..Our rooms had tons of storage. We did not eat breakfast there as it opens at 8:30 and we were on the road by then. Rum punch every night was a nice touch! I will definitely stay there again. "
