"Great place to stay. Was SUPER hard to find at first with Google maps. Perfect breakfast and very laid back. We had a gorgeous view and the AC worked perfect. Nice staff. THE best thing was that we were able to walk about everywhere. Perfect hotel if wanting to walk to the pop up shops/food/jewelry places"

"We loved our stay here! Our room was spacious, included a mini kitchen, and had nice, cold AC. The views from the property were gorgeous. Location was excellent and close to downtown Charlotte and not a far drive to the multiple beaches we visited. On the few occasions we dined on-site, the food was great and the cocktails were excellent. I would highly recommend it!"

"Stayed at the resort for 4 nights . The room was clean . Bed was soft for my comfort. Additionally, Air conditioning was set and unable to get a remote to change the temperature to adjust temperature for ones comfort. Toilet kept running and bathroom shower pipe dripping for the duration of the stay . Hotel upkeep is poor . Notwithstanding, I took off a Bulova crystal watch , left in the room and went out the watch was no where to be found, Reported the matter to the front desk...

"The Windward is not a 5 star facility but it's clean, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is safe and has the best and convenient location in downtown Charlotte Amilie overlooking the wharf. Unbeatable for shopping and good food. "

"It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. "Lovely property with a beautiful view. Very comfortable and clean. Lots of steps so bad knees beware. A bit off the beaten path so you are inclined to eat at their restaurant. The food was excellent, but it is fixed price menu and quite expensive. Breakfast is included and very good. Would definitely stay there again."

"Just don’t waste your money! The food in the restaurant gross and overpriced. Bar tenders suck as they use generic alcohol. The guest services reps are RUDE! You have to tip shuttle drivers if you want a ride to and from your room and the way the layout is of the property you will want/need the shuttle. And don’t get me started on that funky smelling beach that you cannot even get on due to the funky seaweed. You have to take a shuttle to an offsite beach. Save your money! "

"The view was amazing the front desk staff and cleaning crew were awesome. The restaurant staff lacked customer service, every experience with the restaurant staff was terrible. I think due to having the gratuity built it in has made the restaurant staff not care or have to try to do a good job due to a guaranteed tip. This made us leave the resort for meals due to the service being so bad. Due to this we would not stay at this resort again, I would strongly reconsider having the gratuity...
