"We had a party of five, Including two young teen children. We were Surprised to find that we were given a double room on the side of the hotel. (4 queen beds, total, with two separate full bathrooms. It also included a full kitchen, But with minimal supplies to use.) While we lost a good view from the front balcony, we gained a lot of good space, Especially needed since the island received record rain while we were there!! "The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! "

"Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price."
