"It was overall a good experience. What sets it apart is the price and the breakfast. Also onsite restaurant, so you don’t have to go elsewhere. The room was clean and well set up and was satisfactory for one night. The staff was friendly and the breakfast crew went above and beyond. The only negative is no elevator and no one to help with your bags to climb up the stairs."

"I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. There was no cleaning done to Room #301. I had to ask for towels and bath mats daily. One of the electric outlets had black burn marks on it. We didn't touch it. We had to empty our bedroom/bathroom trash daily. No one came to the room at all. There was no bed linen change either. The room was clean when we got there. "This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. "We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was in the building right next to the upper pool on the cliff; this was very convenient. We liked that the grill there was open in the evenings too. Walking down was a trek, but we mostly called for pickups (and used them for drop offs too) and only ever had to wait a long time the day we checked out. My advice, be ready to leave at least an hour before check out and call for a pickup then, if you are pushed for time. The only complaint is the strong...

"Had a very nice time staying at Sapphire Resort. The sargassum was a bummer but the staff took very good care of it so the beach could still be easily accessible. My husband and I did hours of snorkeling and found some pretty neat fish/invertebrates. Our condo was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bar and pool were also great. Would definitely do it again!"
