"Room was perfect "

"A well priced hotel, with very helpful and pleasant staff. Areas of the hotel are a little tired and require updating. That said beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. Any requests were responded to very quickly."

I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). "The hotel was in a good location. It was very clean and comfortable. There was a very good selection for breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Only complaint- got a very small bottle of Schweppes slimline tonic at the bar. It was outrageously priced at £5.40!"

"Habe 2 Zimmer gebucht. Leider war eines davon im Nebengebäude. Auch nach Nachfragen war es leider nicht möglich ein weiteres Zimmer im Haupthaus zu bekommen. Leider war auch keine Zimmerreinigung - auch nicht, als wir das Schild (Zettel) dafür an der Tür angebracht hatten. Frische Handtücher haben wir dann an der Rezeption selber geholt. War schön öfter in dieser Art von Hotel - dieses zählt leider zu den Schlechteren. "

"Pretty close to shops "

"Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, the receptionist kindly offered my partner and me a complimentary drink at the bar to celebrate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. Throughout our stay, the doormen and lobby staff were consistently polite, always offering help and wishing us a great day. On the day of checkout, the gentleman at reception also extended our checkout time, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend...

"The room was bland but serviceable. There was a kitchenette/lounge as well with tea/coffee available. I found the room cold being early March, so looked for a blanket, though none were available in the room."
