"The rooms were really clean, and the staff was amazing. They were helpful and attentive to anything that I needed. The food, oh my, the food - so, so good. Over the course of a week, I had the fish & chips, the burger, a chicken Caesar salad, and multiple variations of the eggs Benedict. "😄spacious room, king bed, quality carpet and good breakfast. 🙁No fire plan, no safe, no room info or QR code-gave up trying to get the TV to work and no one on reception to ask.No housekeeping visit at all was odd? Bathroom needs deep clean of tiles, taps or preferably refurbished as bath chipped and holes in tiles from previous fittings very poorly filled. Paint chips on the furniture. Large room with kitchenette ( fridge, microwave, two ring cooker, kettle, sink) En-suite bathroom with bath, power shower and W>C, towels supplied in room. Continental breakfast included in price. All this for just £31 per nightt highly recommended."

"Lovely traditional pub, nice rooms, clean and tidy and equipped with all the essentials. Good menu and helpful service in pub. I phoned ahead to advise of a late arrival (flight delayed) and they were kind enough to accept our food order after usual end of service time. We were most grateful. There's a pleasant outside seating area and lots of inside seating. Board games galore. Highly recommend. "

"The staff at the hotel was so so lovely and very helpful. We were racing at Oulton Park and it was a hot weekend and they always filled my water bottle with lots of ice so I could stay cool. The restaurant had good food. For a very simple hotel I was very impressed with the staff and also how clean the room was. It's definitely not a super fancy hotel but for a quick drive to the track it's great."
