"Cedar court is a nice clean hotel with everything you need for an enjoyable and restful stay. Rooms are spacious and well stocked with tea and coffee. The yorkshire dialect leaflet was a nice quirk. Parking was very reasonable at £4 for 24 hours with the option of longer. Navigation to the hotel is a bit tricky but once in its easy to park. Staff are really friendly and helpful. "Hotel is out dated, with visible dirty carpets in the lobby that show they have not been cleaned for years. Not recommended for people with allergies as the hotel was really stuffy from the dusty carpets. In the restaurant, there was always no staff to serve and take orders at breakfast. We had to go look for the waiter from reception which was also always unattended. Their English Breakfast the bacon was always dry, their mushrooms tasted like they been cooked using used oil. "Food was great and bar was well kept. Bed was comfy so comfortable in fact I overslept! Such a good find, not overly pretentious just good quality, helpful staff and good food. Perfect for a business stop over. WiFi was also reliable."

"PLEASE READ!! This place is swarming with crack heads in and around the property. It is absolutely disgusting. The reception staff don’t let you leave or give your deposit back until they have physically checked the rooms, which is purely because the place is swarming with drug users. The BEDDING is heavily stained, the carpets are stained the whole thing should be advertised as a halfway house. This is not a hotel, yes it’s cheap, but it’s not even acceptable to sleep in during a cross country...

"Arrived earlier than expected, helpful lady on reception allowed us to check in early. Conveniently placed to walk into the city with easy motorway access when it is time to go. Have stayed a few times now and never disappointed"

"Very nice hotel and lovely breakfast too. We were with a toddler so cautious about the noise as there were many reviews about high noise level. When we close the windows, it didn’t bother us. It’s so close to many good restaurants and attractions. So we loved it."
