This was the most incredible place to stay in Gili T, the staff are so kind and so friendly! Breakfast was delicious and the best vibes! Cant recommend this place enough, you need to stay here!

The staff here is very attentive to your needs. Good location, not too far from nightlife but far away enough to sleep well at night. Nice food for breakfast and lunch. Sunbeds on the beach and very close to turtle beach.

Loved our stay at Bale Sampan. The staff are fantastic and helpful. Air conditioning was great, bed firm and loved our “towel creations”! Location to beach and snorkeling (right where the turtles are) was awesome. Free breakfast was fantastic. Can be a bit noisy due to prayer call but you do get used to it. (They provided us with ear plugs!)

Loved staying here! Staff is friendly. Food was great. Aesthetic was amazing. We rented snorkels and saw turtles right on the beach in front of the property! Highly recommend staying here.

Good value
The rooms are good, clean, comfortable and practical with plenty of power points, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was good. The location was good and in the main strip. The only negative is that the rooms don’t have a view and are located behind the street front restaurant. The beach is only a few meters from the restaurant.

Book it, you won't regret it!
My brother and I had an awesome stay during Fen '18, Muhtar was super helpful and Kate gave us some helpful tips. Brilliant location, clean beach and some lovely snorkeling right off the beach. Highlight of our trip was the turtles. Will love to return some day. Our 4 night booking became 6 then 7 nights!!!

Great place to stay in Gili t
We had an amazing week here at Bale Sampan . The pool view room was so pretty with an outdoor shower. Very close to the beach with nice sun beds. The food in the cafe was lovely and very healthy and reasonably priced , and the staff were friendly and helpful Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to return soon ! There was also a few cars that were very cute

Clean, spacious, great value Beach Bungalow.
Check in was easy, we had one of the two bungalows by the pool, which is closer to the cafe, the road and the beach. Spacious well appointed bungalow, big bed (King?) and a single too, well thought out small details, a place to hang clothes, a mini fridge/bar, air con worked great, high ceiling w/fan, cool semi outdoor bathroom/shower, nice soaps/shampoo, etc.They have a great binder in the room with lots of helpful information about the hotel, cafe, island and other businesses to support. All of the staff were always helpful, courteous, respectful and friendly. They seem to be making constant repairs/upgrades to the bungalows. Bike rentals too. Kate the Manager was available to answer some questions also. The beach area is great, we were able to snorkel right off the beach and see thousands of fish, a few turtles (walk up the beach for about 5 minutes and snorkel back with the current, turtles feed in the sea grass beds. Good beach chairs and cafe service to the beach also. I would highly recommend this bungalow hotel, your close enough to "downtown" Gili T on the east side but yet far enough away from the super busy action.

Good Location if you want to be near the action.
We enjoyed our three night stay here. The location is very convenient, close to many restaurants and the snorkeling just out front was the best we enjoyed of the 3 islands. The bungalows are set back far enough from the street to be very peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you want to stay in town while on Gili T.

Literally a 5-10 min walk from the main strip...a 30 second walk to the beach where you can have the opportunity to witness a beautiful sunrise. The hotel itself was great, good size rooms, partially open top, very spacious bathroom. The breakfast options were great with the cafe conveniently located at the front and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Lovely little villas.
Cute villas. Well kept and clean. Helpful happy staff, very friendly. Nice pool outside our room. Clean, well maintained beach area. Food at cafe was great. Awesome breakfasts! Loved the Taco salad and spring rolls. Currently working in front which was kept as tidy as possible at all times. Slightly away from 'busy' part of island which was nice.

Quiet and clean with great snorkelling
Second stay here and the place is still lovely. Great breakfast and clean pool with view to beach. Comfortable beach lounge chairs and, best of all, the snorkelling area is now roped off to keep boats out of swimming spots and the coral is being rehabilitated. More fish than in the past and even saw a sea turtle. Would recommend as a place a bit farther from the crowded port and party area. Wifi was spotty in our room but OK in public areas.

Excellent location!
This is a really nice hotel. The bungalows are tucked in the back of the property, behind the pool and reception area, so they are quiet and secure. The bungalows are spacious and the outdoor showers are nice. The A/C works well and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The beach in front of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is renovating the front of the property, so the frontage area is a shambles right now, but it seems that will be completed soon and it doesn't affect the enjoyment of the facilities. Overall a very good value.

Absolutely the best place in Gili T!
The rooms are super cozy, very clean and really good size. The bathroom is super clean and all products provided are natural and of good quality which is nice when you're coming back from the beach. Breakfast is simply amazing by the sea! Our favourite moment in the day sitting in the bench by the beach. All staff are amazing and really helpful. Food is great at the restaurant and very reasonably priced. The location is absolutely perfect. In the main strip and just a short walk from the main spots (5mins walking) and the night market. Overall probably one of the best hotels I have ever been even better than loads of 5* The feeling is so good it's hard to describe!

Easy walk from where the boats drop you off, and situated in the best part of the island, across the road from the beach with the most spectacular coral and awesome place to snorkel...we were lucky enough to swim with the turtles on 3 seperate occasions. Room was clean, bathroom situated outside was great, with no issues. No problems with wifi, tv and connection weren't great, but we didn't go to the island to watch tv... Will be going back and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Ok hotel, bathroom needs more attention to detail.
I stayed here with my wife at the beginning of August and having never been to Bali or the Gili islands before we weren't sure what to expect. This hotel was thankfully just about far enough away from all the slightly seedy bars that are packed along the main beach front, so location is ok if you aren't interested in all night drinking. The room itself was ok, spacious enough, the beds were too firm for my liking (all support, no comfort). The free WiFi worked well and there was decent shower gell, shampoo and conditioner provided. The bathroom was designed nicely but needed to be kept a bit tidier for our liking. If there are built in areas for plants to grow then the soil shouldn't have bits of broken glass or cigarette butts. The hotel had nice new bikes for rental and it was great to have built in lights for example. After arriving on the next leg of our trip to Nusa Lembongan we remembered what this area should be like, and as much potential as the Gili islands have, I think they have been ruined by cheap booze and people who care less than other areas. Not the fault of this hotel of course.

Great location, lovely room
Really great location just at the top of the action but far enough away not to be too noisy. Near the mosque so could hear the call the prayer all through the night in Ramadan. Rents bikes which you can cycle round the island with. Pools not great looks better in the hotel pics. The beach is lovely and has amazing snorkelling just off the beach. Gili T is the best of the Gili islands. We absolutely loved it. would love to return and stay here again.

Generally an ok stay if expectations are not high as compared to luxurious resorts and/or premium resorts. This is one of the top recommended resorts in Gili T - good breakfast, beach is just seconds away, massage place just few steps away, plenty of resturants choices. We are far from main stretch which is good for family like us as the partying is almost like daily and can get into really late at night and if you are staying at the main stretch, i doubt u can get much sleep. We booked 2 bungalows, supposed to be side by side but the air con broke down in one of he bungalow so we had to change one bungalow. New bungalow - hot water not working and the touch up paint smell was so strong that i had diffculty sleeping at night. But i think all these are unfortunate. Service of staff are attentive, friendly and warm.

Bale Sampan was a nice hotel, the fresh water pool was lovely but felt a little odd being exposed to the main road. This however was very common. Breakfast was lovely, the staff were helpful and accomodating and the outdoor bathroom was a real pleasure. The room itself was not bad, but not amazing. Overall a good experience.

Thought it was great
When we arrived our room wasn't ready but only had to wait 20 minutes. The room was lovely and I loved the design of the bathroom. Had a fan and aircon, TV wouldn't switch on but we forgot to mention that to them as we only tried to watch TV once. The hotel knew our security box was broken but never fixed it during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and had a good variety of options, including very healthy options. Really loved the atmosphere and staff were friendly, I would definitely stay here again. The only negative comment I have is I overheard a conversation where the customers explained their boat was coming at 1130am and wondered if they could checkout of their room at 1120am. The staff member said no, checkout is at 11am. I thought that was a bit petty, to worry about 20 minutes. Also petty considering they expected us to wait when we were checking in because they didn't have the room ready on time.

가성비 매우 좋아요, 자전거 빌려서 북쪽으로 가면 터틀포인트도 있고 터틀보인트 호객꾼한테 만원주면 거북이랑 영상도 찍어줍니다. 시내 근처이긴 한데 걸어가기는 애매하고 조금 자전거타고 다녀야하고, 선착장까지도 도보 10분 이상 걷습니다. 하지만 가성비 좋습니다. 숙소도 눅눅하고 어두운 느낌은 있지만 가성비 생각하면 괜찮습니다. 방갈로니까요

항구에서도 가깝고 주변 상점들 접근성도 좋고 조식도 맛있어서 만족스러웠어요 스탭분들도 친절하게 대해주셔서 넘 좋았구요 호텔에서 조금만 올라가면 있는 터틀포인트에서 거북이 엄청 가까이서 실컷 봤어요 점심때 즈음해서 바다 물이 빠지니까 오전일찍 가시는 걸 추천해요 호텔없어지는 바닷가 부근이에요 라뭄바? 가기전 포인트구요 저흰 열시~열한시 사이에 봤습니당 암튼 발레삼판과 길리에서 좋은시간 보내구 갑니다 아참 숙소에서 키우는 고양이가 두마리 있는데 어찌나 애교가 많던지 넘 귀여웠어요 간식하나 못챙겨준게 넘 아쉽네요

Et godt valg til prisen. Pænt og rent i den rigtige ende af hovedstrøget. Ingen larm om natten. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, der gjorde deres bedste, selvom der var flere små misforståelser på grund af sprogvanskeligheder. Vi var der på familieferie med tre generationer og selvom Gili Travagan mest er besøgt af unge der fester, havde vi en dejlig ferie.
