Stayed with the hotel for 6 nights, very good location and service from the staff was outstanding they all work hard there to make sure you have a lovely time. I will definitely be recommending this hotel and will certainly go back.

Not bad but could do better
We were in a cabana which are not in the best condition. They are dark and need a refresh. There is also no sound insulation so could hear the neighbours talking all the time as if they were in our room. Also there is a mosque very near which wakes you up at 5am

The First Hotel I stayed have staff super nice and friendly... they really helped, they treat you like a best friend. Awesome hotel located in front of beach, the best!!! Perfect combo.

Superb little hotel with a great pool right on the beach. We walked out straight into snorkelling and saw 4 turtles!!

Nice hutts but loud mosque right next door
We had a nice stay in the hutts except for the part where this hotel is situated right next to a mosque which had their prayers multiple times a day playing through their loud speaker even in the middle of the night. There are a lot of other places to stay on the island so I would look at something further away and closer to the more busy area of the island.

The Mosque actually is quite far from our hotel, but they used a speaker for every pray so it makes it like the sound is coming from next door, but it doesn't. Unfortunately this is happening all over the island as there are so many Mosque on the island. Very friendly and accomodating staff, got a free room upgrade on arrival. Good location, right opposite the beach and close to everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if I were to go back!

Laguna Gili Beach Resort being rebuilt.
Stayed in Laguna Gili Beach Resort, July 25 till the 28th.Was a bit of a disappointment to see the whole frontage of the Hotel under renovation.A complete building site, with all accompanying noise and mayhem.Breakfasts were a bit hit and miss, getting some things some mornings but missing them the next. Staff were friendly and helpful though and it is hard to be disappointed in a beautiful spot like they command.

Book elsewhere!
Booked the Eco room- No hot water, no aircon, no safe, easy access for people to break in as it wasn't enclosed, dark- very minimal lighting, bugs inside, no wifi, minimal privacy, is actually the next door accomadation which they use and is seperate to Laguna. Payed for an upgrade and didn't stay.

Disappointed with the hotel
I did not have a good experience with the hotel.Booked the Economy bungalow and at the time of check in only they tell it comes with fan not air conditioner. Paid extra to get upgrade to standard bunglow room with air conditioner.The room is ok but water pressure from shower is too low(it is too low to have even a comfortable shower) and there is no hot water .Wifi is available only in reception , not in rooms . It may be better they mention these things in the room description. I feel like cheated Good thing about the hotel is very friendly and helpful staff and the location is right on the beach.You can swim and snorkel right in front of hotel .Snorkel and diving is must in Gili. Apart from the problems with the room i thoroughly enjoyed Gili. Wonderful people,awesome diving, great food and exciting nightlife.

We were excited for this hotel, but it turned out to be a disappointment. When we got there, they "upgraded" us to what we're pretty sure was the room-type we booked. We were also informed that wifi was only available in the front area of the hotel. On the description of the room, it said wifi was available in the room. I had trouble connecting, so they gave me the password for another connection, which ended up working ok. The food was so-so. Also, there was no hot water and when we mentioned it, they didn't even try to fix it, or attend to it. They basically shrugged their shoulders. It is centrally located, on the quieter end of the main strip, so leaving in the evening for food and entertainment was easy enough. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from though.

Awesome location on Gili T. Room was nice and my only complaint was how dimly lit it was (used my phone light to look for stuff once it was evening). For some reason the outlets never worked in my room so I continually had to have a technician come and fix things. The staff was super friendly and attentive with huge smiles on their faces. Nice pool and beach front lounge chairs. Would recommend.

Nice and quiet, but some hiccups
We were a little disappointed with our stay at Laguna after receiving a glowing recommendation to stay there. We had trouble checking in as they couldn't find the second room booking (both done in one transaction) and they had missed the request for an extra bed in one room. Once we were in our room is was nice and clean looking, however the bathrooms had a pretty bad smell that didn't seem to go away; especially whilst showering. We paid cash for everything while there, however on check-out were told we had a "small bill" (someone else had charged drinks to our room), however this was handled quickly and well by the staff. The room was nice and tidy and would be suitable for a couple staying a night or two wanting somewhere close enough to the restaurants and bars to walk but still quiet.

Amazing bungalows in the heart of the Gilis
This is the second time I have stayed at Laguna Gili Beach resort in 2 years. I came with friends last year and my girlfriend this year. The individual bungalows cater for either genre. The resort is right in the middle of the main strip so you can literally take your pick of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The resort steps right onto the beach which also has its own private beach and sun beds for residents. The staff are extremely friendly and always on hand. The aircon is great and wifi available in the lobby or rooms is better than most places. The resort is slightly pricer than other places on the main strip, but you get what you pay for in Indonesia. If you want somewhere a little more upmarket and clean this is defiantly the place for you. The bungalows are beautiful and really cosey. Would defiantly recommend staying at Laguna Gili Beach Resort.

The Manager Sofyan has done a fantastic job in improving the condition and the service from the negatives that guests had experienced in past reviews. Location wise - Good
Good location - Quiet and far from the noisy central where all the clubs & pubs are located at. Cleanliness - Still a lot more can be improved. Housekeeping staff need more proper training. Facilities - Below expectation. Room was not provided with full facilities i.e toiletries, hair dryer, iron, duvet etc. Wifi was not available in the room as promised in Expedia and connection was so slow we had to go to the lobby instead. Value for money - A lot to be improved for such a costly rate per room/night. Basically this hotel needs to be refurbished / upgraded.

All in all a nice place.
Had a good stay at this hotel. A little bit expensive for what you get but that does seem to be the case on this island. The hotel staff were great and really friendly. Even when we overslept and walked through the restaraunt 1 hr after breakfast had finished they still offered to provide us with our breakfast which I thought was great of them. The pool was not the cleanest but the water was fine it just had a few leaves floating around. Would definitely stay here again if we're to go back to Gili T.

This hotel has the potential to be brilliant. The room are lovely, great size, comfort and location. It is true what some of the reviews say, that the staff are not the friendliest, they are not rude they just don't smile or seem to enjoy their jobs at all which is a bit of a downer. Our bathroom had some damp issues and when we mentioned it to the front staff they didn't seem to care too much.

Vi havde fem fantastiske dage på Laguna Gili Beach Resort. Dette er ikke et luksushotel, men man får utroligt meget for pengene. Hyggelige værelser, med lille terrasse, god aircondition, fantastisk sandstrand med koraller og havskildpadder, gratis solsenge på stranden, enkel og lækker a la carte morgenmad med udsigt ud over vandet. Og så var personalet utrolig søde og servicemindede - Kan klart anbefales til jeres ophold på Gili.

Good hotel with great location
The staff was great! Especially Vinny at the front desk. The hotel is located by the beach, right next to turtle point where we saw some turtles while snorkeling. The bungalow was great but a bit woren out and quite dark. The bed was uncomfortable. You get what you pay for.

Hotellets personal och service var jättebra. Frukosten var inte något att hänga i granen direkt. Rummet var inte alls bra. Toaletten blev det stopp i hela tiden, lakanen var smutsiga, eluttagen fungerade inte, duschen hade bara antingen extremt varmt vatten eller kallt vatten och strålen var jättedålig. Wi-fi fungerade i stort sett inte alls varken i rummet eller i lobbyn. Däremot var stranden bra där hotellet hade solstolar som man fick låna. Hotellet har även en reception som hotels.com nekar till men deras reception är i stort sett öppen dygnet runt.

Do not recommend this hotel
We had booked 4 nights at this hotel during our summer vacation in Bali this year, but due to incredibly high waves and a lot of wind, all Fast Boats from Bali to Gili were canceled. All the locals we talked to advised us not to take the local ferry, which usually takes 7-8 hours, because it would be an incredibly unpleasant experience and would take up to 24 hours due to the weather. We talked to other tourists in Bali who should have been at Gili as well. They had canceled their trip and without difficulty got their money back, because their respective hotels knew, that the weather was unusual for the season. Therefore, we think we have been exposed to an unfairly bad customer service as this hotel refused to give us our money back.

Dear Guest, First of all, thank you for taking your time to write down this review, we greatly appreciate it. As you posted this review as anonymous, we have no way to check this claim, however you wrote this on 2nd of November 2018, and as far as I know there were no bad weather or big waves or strong winds during October or November 2018. The ferry that you claim the locals said to be 7 - 8 hours, is heavily exaggerated. The journey usually take 5 hours. And even then you have other cheap alternative such as airplanes, they can go as cheap as a little over 250 thousand IDR. With so many good and cheap alternatives, I don't see any valid reason to cancel and break the policy our resort has. I hope this answer is enough for you to put your mind at ease. Mysiga bungalows, välstädat och rent. Mycket trevlig personal. Ligger vid stranden med egna solstolar bra service. Enkel frukost men man kunde beställa ägg, omlett och pannkakor så den är helt ok. Vår tv fungerade tyvärr inte och wi-fi var lite dåligt ibland. Vi åker gärna tillbaka och bor på Laguna

Very nice hotel, best for snorkeling!
+ Location - away from the crowd but close to city center, especially if u take bicycle. Great beach in front of the hotel. Near hotel is turtle point where in the mornings you see many turtles Very friendly employees Diving center has just been completed The best calamari rings ever in hotel restaurant! - There was no minibar in the room(bungalow) as indicated on the site hotels.com Sound of praying due to construction of bungalow makes them really loud. It would wake me up at 4:30am even with earplugs.... though I didnt hear it in superior room.

Bon hôtel mais en travaux
J’ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cette hôtel. Le personnel est très souriant, accueillant et sympathique. La chambre et les environs sont très propres. Le fait que l’entree Soit en travaux à joué légèrement sur le confort.

房間冷氣空調下午時候就是熱得不行啊！
冷氣唔夠凍，在下午時段加電風扇也不行，房間已經轉過一次，但新的房間同一個問題！洒店泳池非常殘舊，不見意入住。唯一的是酒店工作人員態度很好。

Nice Hotel but Service lacks a bit
Spent 2 nights in their bungalow which are the wooden huts. Bed was AMAZING, super large and very comfy. Housekeeping very good, everything nice and clean. Air-conditioning also does its job but not ice cold as some cracks in the wooden hut so warmth gets in and it can never get really cold. Bar/Restaurant staff unfortunately not very good 2 out of 5 stars. Had to wait ages for a menu to come and staff was joking around amongst each other and not paying attention to new guests. However, that seems to be an issue nearly everywhere I went on Gili T. Nice pool, cool in the deep end which is nice and refreshing. Overall good experience.
