"The hotel lacked the polished service and five-star finesse one would reasonably expect, particularly within the restaurant and lounge areas. Table service was notably absent, requiring guests to collect their own drinks from the bar. During dinner, only part of our order was processed by the waiter, leaving some of the party waiting for meals that had not been entered. The experience culminated in one guest leaving without dining at all while the remainder of the party had already eaten. In...

"Simpele maar schone kamer waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. Snelle wifi, lekker bed en fijne douche. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Volgende dag ontbijt voor de open haard - speciaal voor mij aangestoken. Prima diner."

"The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well. "

"I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Perfectly situated for day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The definition of quaint and charming cottage in the English countryside. We had dinner and breakfast every day and the food is amazing!! "

"The staff were excellent and very helpful. It has a good car park. We were in room 3 and could hear someone walking around at 4.30 in the morning, which did disturb our sleep. Better to pick a room in the wings I think."

"Excellent hotel Well located Great breakfast and evening meals Good communal lounge areas Quirky specious room (double) Only downside was that we found the room very warm,(we had a couple of warm April days) there was a fan it didn’t really cool the room, just glad it wasn’t peak Summer. Limited parking onsite 4 spaces, but enough on street parking so no issue. Enjoyable stay overall."

"The room was clean but the hotel as a whole i think needs a little redec. Reception staff were helpful on arrival. I’ll stay again next time i’m in Cheltenham."
