"This is a beautifully furnished, elegant hotel in the centre of Cheltenham. It’s in a quiet part of the town and with easy walking to Montpellier. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with high quality tea, coffee-making machines. A fridge with a bottle of water is a thoughtful addition, the toiletries are Occitane, and the towel are of good quality cotton. The room had air conditioning which was essential during a heat wave. "Tricky getting in as room code was wrong but very helpful lady on the phone sorted it. Great there is parking and brilliant location. At night I was woken up by a clattering of crockery and we could also hear people talking which seemed to be coming out of bathroom vent which was odd. Amazing air conditioning unit and room space etc was ideal for a couple of nights."

"Great location, and staff were very helpful. Excellent secure parking. We enjoyed breakfast - the porridge and cinnamon toast were excellent. The menu offered a wide choice. Bed was comfy, but we were there in a hot spell of weather, and there was no air con in the room. The fan in the room did help a little, but it was still very warm for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner however. We had a room which had a bath, shower and vanity unit in the bedroom with a separate toilet. The...

"Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!"

"Hotel is in a great location, opposite the park. It is very stylishly decorated and the breakfast was great. The downside was that it was during the hot weather and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a fan in it. The windows only opened a little, probably due to safety reasons. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was quite a way down the road, but we were given a pass, so not charged. The garden was nice to have an evening drink."

"Beautiful property, in urgent need of maintenance and remodeling. Beds and mattresses are in very bad condition, carpets have had it. Only 5 AC equipped rooms. We got four of them and ACs were working on two of them."
