"I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the ambience, the welcome we received and the service was exceptional. "Everything was as usual really lovely. Unfortunately that Sunday happened to be the coldest and when l arrived the room was freezing cold. Staff tried their best to rectify the situation but to no avail. After an hour or more Lady Den brought me an extra quilt so l can use. The lady was a God sent she managed to get the temperature to at least 17 and it made a real difference. Overall l ended up with a good night in a warm place. Staff are so helpful at The Hamilton Arms."

"Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building. Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."
