"When we arrived we were put in a room that smelled very musty, had stained carpet and the bathroom mirror was damaged with black streaks. We called the front desk immediately and they said for an upgrade of $40 we can move you. We were paying $500 already. Once we moved the room was clean and comfortable. I was looking for luxury and this was not it. It was a comfortable stay but not what I was thinking. "

It’s rare these days to encounter people who genuinely take the time to ask how your day is going, and that personal touch made a lasting impression. The rooms have been recently renovated and offer a clean, modern feel, which I really appreciated. At the same time, the hotel maintains a charming old-school ambiance that gives it a unique character. It felt calm and comfortable, with a nice mix of old-school charm and modern updates. The property itself feels like a hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful mature trees that add to the sense of privacy and tranquility. I also requested a microwave and refrigerator upon check-in, and both were delivered to my room within 10 minutes—an example of how responsive and efficient the staff is. Just so I don't forget the pool sun bathing was one of my highlights. I’ve stayed in many different hotels over the years, but the level of personal service I experienced there is something you just don’t come across very often anymore. The Blake truly stands out, and I would love to stay there again. Mary"

"Hotel was conveniently located next to Talking stick casino. Decently clean. The staff was extremely friendly - Tammy was so helpful and kind and we would definitely return because of her kindness. "

"We really enjoyed our first staycation at Talking Sticks resort. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The walk-in shower had a rain faucet in the ceiling that could have been larger but it was adequate. We really enjoyed the view from our balcony. We will definitely be back here sometime soon. "
