"great central scottsdale location"

"Beds were clean and bathroom is clean, but I took pictures of every other surface in this room which had the glass rings of coffee as well as red wine and water! I went downstairs to show the staff the pictures and they said to go back in the morning and complain to management. When I went to check out in the morning, there was no management available. So here’s my complaint. I wasn’t overly upset about this, but I wanted the hotel to be aware that your Housekeeping did not clean every surface...

"We checked in early, but our room wasn't ready until nearly 30 minutes after 4pm. We reserved an outdoor cabana only to discover the outside pool was closed. After walking back to the front desk and waiting in line for 30 minutes, they replaced it with an indoor cabana for an extra fee. Not a great way to start. We had to leave a day early for medical reasons and they refused to waive the early checkout fee. Not a good experience."

"One of the worst hotels I’ve been to. The mattresses were like a rock. They charge to park for no known reason at all. There isn’t anyone that would utilize their parking lot, but a hotel guest. The worst part was that I found a glob of someone else’s hair in the bathroom. "

"I had a really enjoyable stay at The Blake at Scottsdale. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave, along with nice, cool AC. The location was great, with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. What stood out most was the friendly and accommodating staff that made me feel welcome throughout my stay. "This is an excellent smaller property in the heart of central Scottsdale within walking distance to many local amenities and fabulous restaurants. All at a reasonable price in comparison to resorts while still maintaining the views of Camelback Mtn. Very well-maintained property, spacious rooms that have all amenities like a studio apartment. Excellent staff! 1st time there and will recommend to others interested in a great accommodation."
