"Older, outdated hotel, though the floor had just been redone. Terrible mattresses. Heat/AC sounded like a B2 bomber. Toilet lid couldn't open all the way because of recently installed counter behind it. Had to maneuver under said counter to flush the top-mounted flush buttons on the toilet. "Free coffee all day and free breakfast was nice. There is a $25 pet fee which I’ve never had to pay at a LaQuinta. Had I known that I might’ve picked another hotel. This one is right on the highway (I-70) so you can hear cars and trucks 24/7. There also could’ve been a better strategy to spread out dogs and kids. Tough time sleeping due to our neighbors little dogs barking all night and the obnoxious owner screaming at it. The room itself was perfectly comfortable and the staff was very kind....
