"Incredible stay! Staff were so sweet and accommodating; the amenities felt authentic to a traditional ryokan, it was clean and modern. I spent my stay with an elderly grandfather and a little kid and everyone loved it! The indoor and outdoor onsens were perfect. There were toys on a shelf for kids to access and take to their rooms.we had a wonderful time!"

"The entire staff is amazing and so accommodating, the food was exceptional and we also had a wonderful massage. The rooms are all unique, clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten path and does not have any TVs so you can truly disconnect. Highly recommend!!"

"Love the traditional futon beds and room - it’s comfy and we especially love the private onsen that you can book. Each booking is for 50 mins to enjoy onsen peacefully by yourself "

"Ce séjour a été une expérience hors du commun. Nous avons été accueilli avec soin. Le fait de manger à genoux sur une table basse, de dormir sur des futons et de se détendre dans les onsens ont été des moments inoubliables. Les repas étaient de grande qualité et préparés avec soin mais malheureusement nous n’avons pas pu les apprécier à leur juste valeur car trop éloignés de nos goûts français 😄"

"0歳の赤ちゃんと一緒に宿泊させていただきました。ベビーバスなどをご準備していただき、夕食、朝食時も広いソファー席を確保していただいていたりと、初めての赤ちゃんを連れて旅行でドキドキしていましたがとても快適に過ごす方ができました。 また、どのスタッフの方も笑顔で親切で素晴らしかったです。 私と夫がとても感動したのは料理のクオリティです。 夜のフレンチコース料理、朝のビュッフェ共にこれまで食べたホテルのお料理の中で一番美味しかったです。 箱根は近いので子どもが大きくなったらまた行きたいと思います。"

"Room was amazing. The old architecture with modern amenities was great. The onsen was beautiful. The hotel itself and the area around the hotel, including the gardens were stunning and fun to explore. A perfect oasis, I wish we could have stayed longer. Some lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance. The free shuttle up the hill to the train station was appreciated, although the walk down to the hotel is worth doing. Stop at Naraya cafe as well!"

"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Fukiya. The property is beautiful - a classic upscale Japanese Ryokan. The service was over the top. The entire staff was wonderful and gave us care beyond any experience we have had anywhere else, and the food and baths were wonderful. We highly recommend it."
