"Beautiful Rakuten"

"Great staff, nice view, clean room and nice onsen"

"Amazing place, wished we stayed longer"

"Hidden gem in Hakone, super private, excellent service and food"

"While the service and location were both excellent, I was disappointed to be put in the dog wing literally. I didn’t book a dog room. Don’t have a dog. Chose this hotel for views which were on the east wing our room was in the west aka dog wing. Spa service was fantastic! Onsen experience was super relaxing. All good except for being with dogs!"

"Beautiful peaceful stay. The staff was so sweet and supportive. The property was a dream!"

"Unreal experience"

"Beautiful property, great view, very nice and helpful staff, good price as well."

"X"

Unfortunately, the overall ryokan experience fell short of our expectations, particularly given the price of approximately USD 1,000 per night. The villa was not particularly clean, with visible stains on the floors and dirty sinks. The onsen facilities were also disappointing. The outdoor bath was lovely and appeared well maintained, but the other public bath was in a condition that made it...
