"The TEN-YU was an exceptional experience. The staff recieve you as if you just arrived home. The whole ambience is of relaxation and de stressing. Enjoyed a fabulous aromatherapy massage at the onsite AnSpa, which was in the most serene location. The Tepanyaki dinner was something else!! Beautifully prepared starters and delicious cuts of the best Kobe beef. We were able to unwind immediately from a long trip and made it a stay i will never forget!!!"

"What an amazing stay we had! The property is just beautiful, the room is so spacious and comfortable, the meals were abundant and delicious, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the in-room open air onsen as well as the variety of private onsen on the property (great for when I wanted an early soak while husband was still sleeping). Parking was provided on the property as well, which was so convenient. I would recommend Suiun to anyone and would gladly stay here again!"

"The hotel was so peaceful and calming. The room was very large and had all of the amenities and then some. The onsen was so relaxing. The dinner meal was 5 star quality. I'm not sure what I was eating at times but it was beautifully presented and delicious. "

"The room was VERY spacious and clean. We appreciated the lobby area and while we didn't get the breakfast option, there was a vending machine in the lobby that required us to download an app to use. Unfortunately with us being from USA, to text us to confirm that we wanted to load the app didn't work correctly and we didn't receive the text. What we should have done was purchase food, snacks, drinks from Odawarai station. We did a day trip to Owakudani and on the way back via train, we got...

"The room was ok... not incredibly spacious. Our room was also overlooking the parking lot and a construction zone, so that was strange. We really couldn't keep the blinds open. The room was advertised having an onsen, and really it was just a deep bath. For $800+ a night, we were expecting more. No coffee in the lobby in the morning (except if you were having the $40 breakfast). The people working there weren't as friendly and accommodating as we found throughout the rest of Japan. The bar...
