"This was my first time staying in a Ryokan, the staff were very helpful, the room was a fantastic size, and the personal onsen was perfect. Transport here is surprisingly convenient for being in the mountains. The only downside I had was whomever was staying on the floor above was very heavy footed and caused me to wake up at 3am."

Only downside is location requires shuttle or taxi to get to Gora Station. They provide free shuttle from 10 am to 6 pm. Also, we don’t like western dinners and that’s all that was available.
