"The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday. The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm. The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed. Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh."

"Late check in was handy, I arrived about 11pm as was the bar staying open until 2 am!! Air con was v.noisy so was left with choice of being boiling (with AC off), not being able to sleep because of noise, or opening the windows and listening to M5. I choose the second option."

"Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."

"A very cosy & modern hotel in a quiet & secure location with the loveliest yet professional staff. Spent a night during the work trip, was a perfect place to unwind despite being on the warmest day of the year! Food from the Bistro was very good & the breakfast was Excellent with a wide range of quality choices. Highly recommend for work trip as well as short getaway. Will definitely visit for latter next time!"

"A 1 night stay before an early flight. Arrived behind a coach party so check in was slow. Had a reasonable quiet room. Had a good nights sleep. Can’t complain."

"Great staff that are professional and very welcoming. A credit to the business from reception, the bar and the restaurant. Special mention for Akhim as he was ever so helpful and professional. Fast check in, clean property, comfortable beds and clean facilities. Only one thing that the clothes hangers seem to fall off the holders quite easily. Not a problem though, just a suggestion. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...
