"The view during breakfast brunch, which is included was second to none. We were spoiled everyday. The breakfast is also generous, including bacon, eggs and sausage. The hotel has a lot of information on-site and offers the Niwalden visitor pass. "Pros: The staff was very friendly, especially, Jamie, who served breakfast each morning during our stay. We got there at 12pm and they allowed us to check in early, which was helpful. The hotel is easily by public transportation. The included breakfast was great. Cons: There is no AC in the rooms, only tower fans so may not be ideal during summer months. "I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The customer service was among the worst I have experienced. Several staff members were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to guest concerns. Whenever I tried to explain an issue, I felt that I was immediately dismissed and even accused of being dishonest rather than being treated with respect and professionalism. "Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. Shame for us was that there was major expansion construction work going in directly in front of the hotel and although 'paused' for summer we were not told about any of this until a few days before we arrived.
