"Had an amazing stay at the Counting House. The staff were so accommodating by taking our luggage in early while we explored the city. Close to all tourist attractions. Booked a dinner for 6 in the gallery above the pub, it was perfect not to mention the prices for the food and drinks were excellent! Will definitely be back!"

"The hotel was nice, rooms were small even though we had a delux (?) disappointed there were no bottles of water. Nespresso machine would have been nice. Bedding was nice. Bed comfortable but small. They did had a play on in the lounge area which we thought was weird so we couldn’t sit and have a drink and chat!!"

"First off the reception staff were exceptionally polite and courteous. Our room was as we'd expected and suited our needs. There was only one hiccup though that the washing machine developed a fault which then took out the cold water supply, but these things happen. We'd definitely stay again, thank you."

Bed was comfortable, blackout blinds effective, kitchen as described, and towels large and clean. My only complaint is that the so-called fitness centre is not really that at all. It is a tiny room with a treadmill and a couple light dumbbells. They would be better off affiliating themselves with a local gym and give us...

"CitizenM concept is great for solo travelers. This particular property is perfectly situated right at the convenient Tower Hill tube station and overlooks Trinity Square. Top floor lounge has an amazing view of the Tower of London and the Shard — as do many of the rooms. Stayed here before, will stay again."
