"Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, and had very friendly staff. They were celebrating their 50th year and once we got to our room, we saw that yes, this is an older hotel in need of upgrades. The doors were rotted and chipped at the bottom, furnishings scratched and in need of repair. The toilet was nice, but the bathtub is not secured to the floor, there is a gap, so while standing in the shower, you wobbled and felt the tub bottom shift under you, feeling unstable. The location and views were wonderful, but the hotel is so large and reconstruction is going on in some areas which made navigating the hotel difficult. We spent a great deal of time trying to locate the elevators!!"
