"We loved staying in our Bluebird Cottage! Check-in and check-out were super fast and easy, the staff were helpful and friendly, parking was right next to our cottage, and the grounds were immaculate. It was in a great location near lots of little shops and amazing restaurants, and the closest place to stay if you're going to the Idyllwild Renaissance Faire! I am only rating it 4 stars though because our room smelled pretty bad. It almost smelled like pee and light mold and we had to air it out...

"Located close to town with a vintage retro wood lodge vibe. A lot of things were broken. E.g. lamp shade with large tear, the lock was hanging off the sliding door, lumpy mattress, window screen in the bathroom was bent not flush with the window letting in bugs, toilet tank lid broken into several pieces and glued back together, the bathroom sink and shower did not drain properly at all."

"Quiet and serene. Nice place to unwind. The lodge definitely needs some remodel, very outdated. Electric stove only had 2 burners working. The cabin was advertised for 5 people but had only 4 sleeping spots. Additional mattress was provided upon request that had to be placed on the floor. "The place was great. Very comfortable and well outfitted. It's in a neighborhood, down a short dirt road, no driveway, you will need to park on the street and leave room for neighbor to get to their driveway gate. There are stairs down to the door (not wheelchair accessible). Not a big deal, just a note if you're bringing a lot of stuff or more than 1 car it will be tight."

"It was a very nice stay with helpful staff. We did have an issue with the television in the living room which staff did help to try to resolve. Ultimately, it was not too big of an issue for us as we used the pool and went out often. We would return."

"Staff were accommodating and polite, but property needs a little TLC. This historic property smells a bit old and rusty but the bed was clean and comfy. I didn't care for the refillable bath products due to sanitary issues but that's just me! Location is safe and convenient to restaurants. I give it three stars ☆☆☆"
