Hotel Murah di Imaculado Coracao de Maria

"Hotel was well located close to the marina and centre of Funchal. Room was nice enough although the view was of a neighbouring building. The gym was limited and the rooftop pool was very small and seating limited. Breakfast was okay but it was a bit of a scrum because there was limited space. Finally when we wanted the bedding changing we did as requested on the card in the room but despite requesting this on two occasions the bedding wasn’t changed which was disappointing. Not a 5 star hotel...

"Emplacement de choix, au cœur de funchal, près de tout. Attention il s’agit de quelques appartements dans une bâtisse qui contient autre choses, donc pas de service 24/24 à la réception. Les appartements sont grands et le stationnement inclus à même la bâtisse. La piscine est agréable."

"The Hotel is in an excellent location within the edge of the Old Town therefore walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, shops and promenade. Very quiet hotel, pleasant laid back atmosphere. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, including a welcome glass of sparkling wine! We only ate breakfast there each day which was very good, buffet style although there were specials you could order also. Great range of hot and cold foods, pastries and fruit. Overall we would happily recommend...

"Un séjour parfait. L'accueil est au top, la chambre et la literie sont irréprochables. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et chouchoutés du début à la fin. Côté table, les cocktails, le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner étaient tout simplement excellents. Le cadre, raffiné et au standing un peu rétro, offre une véritable bulle de douceur. Les piscines avec des horaires larges nous ont permis de nous relaxer, nous n avons pas testé le spa , ce sera pour une prochaine fois. Seul petit bémol...

"The rooms with sea view are absolutely stunning! I totally recommend them for enjoying a glass of madeira wine at sunset. Great breakfast selections, even though it can get busy at times."

"En retrait du bord de mer mais suffisamment proche pour s'y rendre à pied comme en centre ville. L'établissement est dans une zone résidentielle au calme avec son magnifique jardin. L'hôtel se compose d'une partie moderne et d'un manoir où se trouvent les suites. Les équipements sont suffisants pour passer un excellent séjour dans une ambiance feutrée. Le personnel est digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles."

"Lovely quiet boutique style hotel. Excellent breakfast, served on terrace with great views across Funchal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel 10/15 minutes walk from Old Town but on a steep hill. Walk back a bit challenging in the heat, although buses available nearby. No bar, (only honesty bar), and no pool. "I was very pleased with my stay. This hotel has some amazing views of the city. The staff was extremely helpful. I had an issue with my room's a/c upon checking in and they worked to get me moved to a different room quickly. The parking is a bit tight, but manageable. The food at the restaurant was great. The services at the spa are reasonably priced. While it's not necessarily easily to walk into town, you can get a quick Bolt ride into city center."
