"We had an excellent stay at Premium Apart MONday KYOTO GOJO. The room was spacious and clean and had an awesome shower (I looked forward to this after long days of sightseeing!). The fact that we had a washer/dryer in our room was a huge blessing. In the future, we will always try to find an apart hotel that has this convenience as it allows you to do a load of laundry every evening and therefore pack way less clothes! The location of the hotel was walking distance to the Gojo station...

"Our stay at the Shijo Takakura Hotel grandreverie was great! It was the most memorable room of our trip to Japan, a great design and lots of space. The stone shower and bathtub were especially luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive. It's the one place we'd immediately go again!"

"This was hands down our favorite night of the trip so far. We booked the Machiya Superior room and it was such a special experience. The traditional ryokan style made it feel unique and very Kyoto, but it was also incredibly comfortable. The futons were way more comfortable than we expected as westerners who’ve never experienced them. The heated tatami floors made the whole space feel unbelievably cozy. "We are at this Machiya on our recent holiday to Kyoto. The host Yuki introduced the place to us and we got to make macha together. It was a lovely place to stay and the outdoor bath was really nice especially as it is winter time now. It is located near Kyoto station and Gojo station. We also had the traditional breakfast which was delicious. Overall we were glad we picked this place for our stay at Kyoto and would highly recommend it!!"
