"The interior of the house was fine. Some low ceilings in the stairwell and upstairs bedroom but nothing major. The front of the house faces an industrial area while the back/side face some other houses that aren’t necessarily as well kept. Again, nothing that would keep me from staying. "Arrived and the bed our kids were supposed to sleep on was broken and it was unusable. Refrigerator was rusted. Blinds broken in main bedroom. Flooring completely falling apart. Spider webs everywhere. Listing showed it on the lake, it was across a very busy street from the property. This listing was absolutely deceiving. "Charming Amish home. It was unclear at booking if the bedrooms had queen or double beds, but they were double so it was extremely tight for a couple. The single bathroom was very tiny and there was zero counter space in the bathroom. There is no hair soap or hair dryer included which is fine if you know ahead of time and can bring your own. You are staying at a propery which has the owners living in the home that is adjacent so they monitor the home very closely. We got a note on the door...

"Amy was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She even left pancakes w/syrup for breakfast and pasta w/sauce in case we didn’t have time to go to the store! It’s the small things that really stick out such as leaving a bowl of snacks, a few beers in the fridge, a bottle of wine, fully stocked medicine cabinet in case you forgot something. She even put food and water out for the dog along with toys and a blanket! We loved being there and it was such a beautiful...
