"I was absolutely blown away by the features of this property. There were several salon/sitting rooms, two of which had an honesty bar, where you could pour a drink, and sit in comfort and quiet in an immaculate, finely decorated room, with heavy, luxurious draperies, beautiful hardwood furniture, and classic paintings with gorgeous frameson the wall. The hotel had an old world feel, solid and extremely welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional, and the maintenance of the furnishings...

Unfortunately we discovered long dark hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor but not until we returned later in the evening. If not for this would have been 5 star Would still recommend."

"Great great location, clean, friendly staff; the air conditioning saved us in hot weather in July. We were minutes away from a lot of tourist attractions and we were able to easily commute to distant locations via tube. Having a mini kitchen was also great so we could grocery shop in Sainsburys (next to the building) and cook in our kitchenette. Made our London experience very enjoyable."

"Great studio suite ruined by lack of AC. Hardly slept because of heat and bed firm. Otherwise great location, friendly staff. Apartment has everything you need….apart from AC. Maybe will stay again but only outside summer!"
