"5 stars, no question. Almare Resort in Isla Mujeres really did what needed to be done. From the moment we pulled up, the whole vibe was calm, clean, and straight luxury without feeling stiff. Joseph at the bar? Top tier. My guy remembered drinks, kept the energy right, and made sure we were always good without us even asking. That kind of service don’t go unnoticed. "Food was average. Rooms were missing essential items like an ice bucket. Used items weren’t replaced each day ie: coffee supplies and hand towels. Adults only area was lacking in shade/umbrellas. Staff was friendly and accommodating. "

"Pros: pools are nice, bartenders give good service, rooms are large and clean, easy for kids to eat whenever they want. The beach is actually very nice with cabanas for shade and good service from The bartenders. Long and difficult check in, food is not great at all, drinks never taste that good. Long waits for eating dinner bc you can’t make a reservation so be prepared to show up early and wait for very mediocre food. "

"This house is wonderful. The view of the waves is amazing. The property is clean. The kitchen supplies were underwhelming but adequate. The coffee pot wasn’t working so we bought a new one. Microwave didn’t quite heat up so we just use the stove top. We had planned on eating out most meals anyways so many great local restaurants nearby. And the best of all is Camelo the local dog that’s been his days at this house. 13 out of 10 for sure!!!"
