"If you're under 60 I don't recommend this hotel. I think they need to make it more obvious that its catered to over 60s mainly."

"Arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm as checkin was not until 3pm we sat in the bar and waited. Looking around the staff seemed flustered, stressed and any requests felt like a bit too much trouble. At 3pm went to check in and was told the room was still not ready. Only then were we allowed to use the facilities I.e outdoor pool.(would it have been too much trouble to offer this at 1:30pm?) we were told they would find us when the room was ready. At 6pm still no sign of staff so went to reception...

"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have essentials to purchase for cheap at the front desk (toothbrush kit, etc.). They have a full bar. It's within walking distance of several good pubs and restaurants. Takes about 6 minutes to get to Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport on the bus which stops right outside the hotel. The staff was very helpful."

We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. "This isn’t an old hotel but it presents that way. We travel a lot and this is the first time we’ve ever encountered it being impossible to plug anything in at the bedside. The hotel uses some strange proprietary outlet for the lamps! This is a health issue as my partner needed to plug in his CPAP. The hotel did lend us an extension cord but that creates a trip hazard on the way to the bathroom. This is really just patently stupid. There are also insufficient outlets in the room and no usb...

"Clean space and friendly helpful staff"

"First they didn't have the two single bed room I reserved months ago. Once we got to the room with a double bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed my daughter had to sleep on there was absolutely no air conditioning no matter what I did to the thermostat. I tried to call the front desk with no answer. There is shampoo and body soap but no conditioner and very rough towels, with no wash cloth. The only good thing was the bus stop across the street to get to the airport."

"Loved this inn? The building is over 500+ years old & therefore comes with the quirks of a very old place. That does give it character but you need to know what your are getting into. There are steep stairs & unlevel floors. All the things we love but it is not for everyone. The breakfast was great & the staff are outstanding. Location also outstanding."

"Air conditioning in rooms a must in hot weather so we loved that the rooms were cold beautiful bathroom and shower. Breakfast lovely staff friendly . Easy walk into Windsor book parking at hotel . Nice garden to sit in which is great. Hotel location excellent"

"Nice hotel by the airport. The bar and grill had a good choice of food if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They helped me book a private transfer to my terminal as I was too late for the bus. It was only £2 more. Would definitely stay again"
