"Just amazing, I could not fault a thing. Perfect location, easy onsite parking, massive room with a stunning view of the harbour. Super friendly staff, great range of beers in ‘The Pub’. Beautifully cooked & presented breakfast. 100% spot on. Will definitely go back & stay again."

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk. The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary. The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but...

However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. "Right on the harbor in charming Mousehole, we had a front row seat on Cornish life--people swimming, kids jumping off the harbor wall, and walking on the SW Coastal Path. Cooked breakfast was excellent and hearty, and there were a variety of god restaurants in Mousehole and nearby Newlyn. Our room was quiet and well appointed with a spacious bathroom.
