"We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. "Emerald Beach Resort is right on the sand. Great view of Lindbergh Bay from the balcony. You can walk over from the airport and cruise ship is nearby too. Property needs another refurb i.e. refrigerator location under drink prep sink looks bad. Room has a safe. Needs better landscaping, too much bare ground and unkempt plants. WiFi is fast. "This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. They helped us by holding our bags since we arrived early, getting our room ready ASAP, and calling a cab when it was time to go to the airport. It was just a wonderful experience and we would...

"I’m saddened to write about this terrible experience with the Landmark Apartments. The communication with the host is terrible! I tried to reach them a week before the trip, a couple of days before the trip and then when I arrived in St Thomas. I finally got in touch with Ronita as we were pulling up to the apartments. "I love the privacy we had with room and balcony. There is no smoking of any kind on property, but they do have a designated area. Not too many activities unless you travel over to st John's but the stay was great!"
