After 2 nights in Edinburgh, it was refreshing to go into the Scotland countryside and find a place to stay like this that was so quiet. We learned that the house was built in 1743. "We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits.
